Chaplin, R.H.

‘Roy’ Chaplin joined H.G. Hawker Engineering in 1926. He was Assistant Chief Designer to Sydney Camm and finally rose to become Chief Designer and an Executive Director in 1959. He was awarded the Royal Aeronautical Silver Medal in 1960 for services to aviation.
