	Biographical Details:
	George Cottrell joined the company in 1934, aged 14, when it was H.G. Hawker Engineering. He joined the Inspection Department at a time when biplanes were still in production at Canbury Park Road and worked for the company as an Inspector for 51 years. He retired in 1985.
